Have you ever wonder, what is the greatest investment I could make in my children?
The reason why I do what I do
I want to take a moment to share the why behind what I do. After years (about 14) of working with hundreds of children, teenagers and their families, I noticed a pattern would emerged regardless of the families background, social economic level, country or religion. I noticed that when the parents were living healthy, fulfilling lives, their awesomeness would trickled down to their kids and as a result, we would be able to move faster through the counseling, teaching or whatever goals we're trying to reach.
However, when the parents lived their lives in fear, had unresolved issues, or didn't have the right tools to lead their families to the desired destination, no matter how hard we worked with their kids, the results wouldn't come as easy and wouldn't last long. Instead, the progress was more like a vicious cycle. There would be a few periods of progress, but drama or problems would surface and sabotage the growth Healthy, purpose driven parents make awesome coaches There's no way around it. Healthy, purpose driven parents guide their kids to living fulfilling, healthy, successful lives. After realization I made a decision. I decided to invest the majority of my time to working with parents and leaders, to strengthen the families foundation and as a result, strengthen the support system for the entire family. Making your emotional, spiritual and physical well being a priority, will impact your kid's lives for the best. As they see you work on yourself, they will be inspired to do the same. My mission is to help teenagers and young adults become absolute best selves, by working with their parents and leaders, to ensure the whole system is 1) living healthy lives that they love 2) parents have the tools and practical strategies they need to be their best and help their kids do the same 3) everyone feels they can become their very best without feeling like they have to be "perfect" or like everybody else. Here is my first challenge to you. Make a list of what you believe are your top 10 priorities. At the end of every day, take a look at how much time you invested into these 10 priorities. If you notice that your "walk" doesn't match your "talk, take some time and create a plan to make things work. Set some time to take care of yourself and you'll be able to share with your kids from the abundance in your heart. I have included a couple of tools on our (check out the tab- Free Resources), to help you accomplish this challenge. Now remember- it doesn't have to be perfect. You just need to get started. Your family's health depends on it! If you believe in prayer, take sometime and share your concerns with God and asking to help you. You are definitely not alone. Let's do this! You are worth it. Sending you a big hug, Pachi
